McDonald's offers free sandwiches

OAK BROOK -- McDonald's will give away its new Southern Style Chicken Biscuit and Southern Style Chicken Sandwich during a nationwide sampling at its 14,000 U.S. restaurants on May 15. The fast-food chain expects 2 million chicken biscuits and 6 million chicken sandwiches will be given away nationwide, said Neil Golden, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for McDonald's USA. Customers can try the chicken biscuit from 7 to 10:30 a.m., or the chicken sandwich after breakfast hours until 7 p.m. while supplies last, with the purchase of any medium or large beverage.
