Do, re…you? 'Gurnee Idol' seeks contestants

Gurnee Idol auditions will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Warren Township High School O'Plaine campus, 500 N. O'Plaine Road, Room 112, and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Warren Township Teen Center, 17801 W. Washington.

Auditions are open to all Warren Township students entering grades nine through 12 for the 2008-09 school year. Registration is not required.

Gurnee Idol will take place at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Viking Park band shell.

The contest is presented by Healthy Communities Healthy Youth, the Gurnee Park District and Warren Township Youth Services.
