WCI Scholarship leads to success story

Women's Club of Inverness (WCI) recently hosted a breakfast meeting

featuring guest speaker Valerie Anderson a former scholarship winner who praised

the group for helping her successfully follow energetic goals.

She received her Associate of Arts degree from Harper College graduating with Honors Program distinction and continued in the Honor's Program at Elmhurst College where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communications. Valerie is currently the Admissions Counselor at Elmhurst College aiding local transfer students

along with pursuing her own Masters Degree in Project Management.

Valerie's mother, Suzanne Anderson, also attended the event to listen with pride to her daughter speak.

Valerie Anderson also shared her talent as a distinguished photographer with the organization which she credits for helping her attain a successful career and future.

Women's Club of Inverness is a 501(c)3 organization supporting local

non profits and providing scholarships for deserving students from

districts 211 and 220.
