Fox Valley hospice plans a Garden Party

Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice will hold a Garden Party May 27 at the Q Center in St. Charles.

Sponsored by the Hoffer Foundation, EFS Foundation, Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Provena Mercy Medical Center, FONA International, The Cara Group and West Suburban Bank, the day will be filled with a silent auction, themed basket raffle, a performance by quick change artists David & Dania and luncheon.

Tickets are $60 each. Those interested can call FVVH at (630) 232-2233 to purchase tickets with a credit card over the phone or visit the FVVH office at 200 Whitfield Drive in Geneva to purchase tickets with cash or check.

The 2008 basket themes include A Child's Delight, American Girl, At Your Service, Chicago, Chicago, Cold Cash, College Bound, Diamonds are Forever, Dining with Pleasure, Fantasy Getaway, Fore the Golfer, Girl's Night Out, Gourmet Cook, Home Office, Landscape Lovers, Patio Pleasures, Sensational Seasons, She's Got Purse-onality and Teen Tastic.

The baskets are valued at up to $4,000.

Raffle tickets also are available at one for $5, 10 for $40 and 30 for $100. Those interested purchase tickets at the FVVH office or download the raffle ticket order form at www.FVVH.org.

Winners need not be present at the event to win.
