Baptist
Faith Baptist Church invites the community to its final worship service at 10:30 a.m. and a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at 15 N. Washington St. in downtown Batavia. The worship service and concert will celebrate the conclusion of 172 years (1836 - 2008) at the downtown location. The church is moving to a new building on west Main Street.
Faith Baptist Church concludes its ministry in this building with a piano concert at 6 p.m. by the renowned and internationally known pianist Huntley Brown. Brown appears around the world with the Billy Graham Evangelistic services.
As the resident pianist on Chicago's TV Channel 38, Brown can be heard daily on "Among Friends" with host Jerry Rose.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the event is free to the public. Donations will be accepted.

Adults
A new Gratitude Group has been formed at Fox Valley Unity Church. The group will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month at the church, 230 Webster St., Batavia.
The next group meeting is Sunday. Meetings are held in the adult education classroom in the lower level of the church.
The group is being formed in the belief that gratitude is the secret to an abundant, successful life and that gratitude deepens your spiritual walk and awakens you to the fullness of God, the source of all good.
Offering will be on a love offering basis. Everyone is welcome.
The church is also showing the film "You Can Heal Your Life" at 7 p.m. Friday. The film is about the life and work of Louise Hay, who created healing techniques and a positive philosophy to help others achieve wellness in mind and body. She wrote a best-selling book of the same name which was published in 1984.

Presbyterian
Commemorating 150 years of service to the Aurora community, First Presbyterian Church - Aurora is inviting the public to a Gala Heritage Banquet titled "Back to the Future," at 5:30 p.m. June 14 at the Harkness Family Center, 60 S. Fourth St.
Individuals are encouraged to "dress up like days of old" or come as they are. Costumes will be judged with a trophy for the evening's winner. The master of ceremonies for the celebration is Total Living Network television host Jim Gibson.
The evening will also feature a barbershop quartet, a Dixeland band and special guests. A evening highlight will be a special video presentation with interviews and a historical overview of the church produced by Jamie Lara.
Catered by Cuisine America, tickets for the event are $15 and must be reserved by June 4.
Simultaneous to the program at the Harkness Family Center is a special children's program, 5:30 p.m., at the church's Graham Hall. There is no charge for this program with the purchase of a dinner ticket.
This year on June 13 the church celebrates 150 years in the Aurora community. The 850-member church is an evangelical church within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The church's senior pastor is the Rev. Jeffrey B. Moore.
