We need to fund Social Security
Had enough of government as usual? I have. Let's see, how can senators and representatives know what an average American goes through trying to make enough money to pay their bills and hope there will still be enough money left in Social Security for when they are old? These senators and representatives make over $1 million a year in salary and free health insurance for the rest of their lives among many other benefits and all they have to do is serve one term in office. We, the American citizens that they are supposed to represent, should have it so good.
This year alone our Congress in Washington spent over $662 billion of our money on pork, or as they would rather have us call it, earmarks.
Don't forget these people in Congress don't have to worry about Social Security because they will get their salaries and benefits for life. So, what do they do? They steal from Social Security to pay for such things as the Vietnam War and anything else where they feel they must dip their hands into our funds.
Well, if you have had enough like I have, send a message to all those in Congress that they have failed miserably in their jobs, the jobs that we have hired them to do. Tell them that we want $662 billion dollars every four years earmarked for Social Security. Let's tell them we expect them to have to live with what they give us to live with.
How do we do this? By voting all the incumbents out this election, and if the new replacements don't realize how they got voted in and they just continue to rule the same way, vote them out again. Sooner or later they will realize that they work for us. Haven't you had enough?
