Lutheran school accepting applications
Immanuel Lutheran School at 950 Hart Road in Batavia is accepting applications for the 2008-09 school year. The school offers a strong academic education in a Christian setting for preschool students through eighth grade students.
The school has a total enrollment of just over 300 students. Students can benefit from smaller class sizes, a challenging curriculum, experienced educators, exceptional facilities, and extra curricular activities.
The curriculum includes religion, Spanish, chapel, choir, art and computer classes as well as traditional classes. Fifth- through eighth-grade students can participate in athletics including volleyball, cross country, basketball, cheerleading and track and field. Fourth- through eighth-grade students may participate in band. Musicals and concerts are scheduled during the year.
Immanuel Lutheran School has achieved recognition from the State of Illinois and is accredited by National Lutheran School Accreditation. Students of all races, creeds, national and ethnic origins are accepted.
