Prospect Marching Knights take first at Chicagoland Marching Band Festival
The Prospect Marching Knights performed in the Chicagoland Marching Band Festival at Wheeling High School on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Due to inclement weather, the competition for Class 3A bands was moved indoors and the band provided a static performance of their field show, "Finding Balance."
The Prospect Marching Knights won first place in Class 3A (indoor). The Marching Knights were also awarded captions for Outstanding Music, General Effect, and Drum Majors.
The next competition for the Prospect Marching Knights will be the Red and Black Fall Classic at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb Saturday, Sept. 28.
