Route 64 down to one lane

Traffic in St. Charles will be delayed while Illinois Department of Transportation officials make pavement repairs on Route 64 from Eighth Avenue to Route 59 through Friday. IDOT officials plan to close both east- and westbound inside lanes on Thursday and hope to have that work completed by Friday. Traffic will be down to one lane while they are working, so motorists are warned to expect delays.
