Confession surfaces again in Brown's case
It's expected defense lawyers in the Brown's Chicken massacre case will try again to exclude a videotaped confession made by defendant James Degorski.
During a brief appearance Tuesday in Cook County court, attorneys said it was likely a motion would be filed Friday for a reconsideration of an appellate court's ruling allowing parts of the videotape to be shown to the future jury.
Degorski, 35, is accused of killing seven people at the Palatine restaurant. Co-defendant Juan Luna was convicted in 2007. The videotape is a key piece of evidence for the prosecution.
