Bill Foster doesn't fit the 14th District
Bill Foster is wrong for the 14th District. His recent address to the nation epitomizes the Democrats' desire for government giveaways, dependency on government and rewarding bad decisions.
Foster wants an economic plan to bail out those who cannot pay their mortgages. Bailing out lenders and borrowers punishes those who exercise financial responsibility.
Foster also believes the government's economic stimulus plan is "a good start" to strengthen the economy. I believe it is a scheme for incumbents to buy votes and only raises the national debt.
Bill Foster also wants free children's health care. Our Constitution is not in place to provide health care. Our Constitution is in place to provide the freedom to work hard for our own gain and not be forced to pay for the gain of others.
The more government becomes involved in health care, the less affordable it will become. Does Foster represent what our district has become -- a welfare state void of personal pride that cannot succeed without the mercy of politicians?
I ask that you consider making his stay in Washington short.
