• Alison Marie Lampier of Barrington, a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in architecture at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, is the recipient of the Architecture Multicultural Scholars Program scholarship, Elizabeth E. Rivard Scholarship and Frank G. Crowell Scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year. She is a graduate of Barrington High School.

• Thomas William Gill, son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Gill, Palatine, was named to the College of Arts and Science's fall 2007 dean's list at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
• Elmhurst College named the following students to the fall dean's list for achieving an average of at least 3.75.

• Jill DeClerck daughter of teri and William Declerck of Palatine, was named to the winter 2007 dean's list at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Ind. She is a senior majoring in chemistry.
• Lauren Elizabeth Debrauwere, Lake Barrington, and Scott Steven Forton, Palatine, were named to the Department of Communication honor roll for the fall 2007 semester at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. To qualify, students must a 3.5 or greater GPA.
• Alexander S. Brubacher, Barrington, and Sarah M. Feid, Palatine, were named to the fall 2007 dean's list at Northern Michigan University, Marquette, for having a 3.25 to 3.99 grade point average.
• Pete Esbensen, son of Bob and Gloria Esbensen of Palatine, was named to the fall 2007 dean's list for having a 4.0 GPA at the University of Texas-Austin where is a sophomore. Prior to transferring, he was on the 2007 spring dean's list at Florida State University with a 3.9 GPA.
