Peace activists shouldn't be tried
This is regarding the April 10 article "Judge allows case against protesters to go to trial."
Over the past nine months, I have attended the court dates for Jeff Zurawski and Sarah Hartfield as a supporter and an observer.
None of the charges in this case has merit. What occurred that day was a peaceful and lawful expression of political views on public property.
Yet the case will now go to trial. What do this case and U.S. occupation in Iraq have in common? The longer it goes on, the more pointless it becomes.
