Community Unit District 300 news
Community gatherings: Join the District 300 School Board for its town hall-style community gatherings, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Dundee Township Senior Center in Carpentersville, or 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Neubert Elementary School in Algonquin. Have coffee and pastries and casually visit one on one with your elected school board representatives, and share any questions or concerns you have.
Online survey: District 300 has issued a quick, easy online survey in which community members can give feedback on the D300 Web site, newsletter, and annual report.
The survey will be open through the months of April and May. The District is hoping that all community members -- those with and without children in the schools -- will take 5 minutes to complete the survey.
To do so, go to the D300 Web site, www.d300.org, and click on the survey link prominently displayed in the top-center of the home page.
A similar version of the survey was also just launched for D300 staff members.
Community and staff survey results will assist the D300 messaging architect in his redesign of the D300 Web site, which is set to launch this summer. The district would like the Web site to better fit the needs and wants of its users, and to expand the number of people who regularly use the Web site.
Likewise, the survey results will help the district to continually improve its print informational resources.
