Back McCain, and staying the course
The American public has been denied the encouraging statements of a high Iraqi official (name withheld) who bravely stated that "the difference between today and Saddam's time is heaven and hell" and "we are afraid of the terrorists, too! They destroyed the dream of the Iraqi people...after the liberation of Iraq in 2003, Iraqis from all ethnic backgrounds are free from decades of darkness!"
And, "because American troops are in Iraq, this has kept the battlefield there instead of in the U.S.!"
Why are we abetting the enemy and placing our land in increasing danger by our declining support and advocating a premature pullout? We need reports of the positive side of our continued presence and its benefit to America.
Neither Hillary nor Obama have the experience needed to understand the enemy as does Sen. McCain! He has "been there and suffered the consequences" while his opponents have never experienced the terror of war personally nor have the stamina to fight for our continued freedoms.
Pulling out will not guarantee freedom from the enemy's assault on America but only increase its presence and ferocity here. This is a global war that will not go away by looking the other way and denying its goals.
