NAMI offers estate planning program

The Barrington area chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness sponsors a seminar on estate planning for families of people with mental illness or other disabilities at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Barrington village hall, 200 S. Hough St.

Attorney Bruce Kiselstein will present an overview of trusts and wills designed for heirs with special needs. Learn how a well-designed trust can protect beneficiaries from losing their inheritance.

The village of Tower Lakes will flush the water system during this week starting Monday. Residents may experience some discoloration, pressure variation and turbidity.
