Cafeteria worker charged

A Highland Park man has been charged with more than four dozen counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and possession of child pornography. Highland Park police say 35-year-old Vicente Pecina worked in the cafeteria at Northbrook Junior High School. A boy told police that Pecina sexually abused him. The Lake County states attorney's office says the possession of child pornography charges against Pecina relates to the discovery of child pornography on at least one computer seized from Pecina's home. Pecina has been held in Lake County jail in lieu of $750,000 bail since his arrest on Wednesday.
