Freeze warning in effect for tonight
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the Chicago metro region from midnight to 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Temperatures could fall to around 32 degrees by Tuesday morning.
The temperature will mostly likely be around 33 to 34 degrees in the city of chicago.
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely.
These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
