And you'd call me un-American?
George Bush was asked at a news conference about what will people do if gasoline reaches $4 a gallon?
His reply was, "What are you talking about? I have no such knowledge." Dick Cheney was asked by ABC, "What do you have to say to critics of the war?"
His reply was, "Tough."
These two statements go to show how out of touch they are with the people that voted for them, and how arrogant and cold-hearted they are when someone does not agree with their policies.
I never burned a U.S. flag. I support the brave men and women in Iraq. I served my country during Vietnam. I pay taxes. But because I disagree with this senseless war I am labeled un-American. So be it, call me un-American, but give me the benefits you give to un-Americans.
Give me free health care when I am sick. Give me free food stamps when I am hungry. Pay my gas and electricity when I am cold or hot. Let me drive without a license and car insurance, and if you stop me, I have groups that will support me because you violated my rights. Build me new schools and roads and bridges while yours crumble. Find me a great job and let my family cross your borders and if you hurt one of them for crossing, my family will be able to sue you.
The only thing I won't be able to do is vote in your elections. But other than not voting in elections if it is Hillary or McCain, that won't be any loss. So call me what you want, but give me the benefits if you do.
