Calamos hotel to be named Hotel Arista

NAPERVILLE -- The 31-acre mixed-use CityGate Centre on Wednesday said its "green" luxury hotel on the site will be named Hotel Arista, after the Greek word for best. The hotel reflects the ancestry of owner John Calamos Sr. and his family, according to a press release. Set to open by fall, the hotel will have 12 floors, 144 rooms, a spa, restaurants and banquet rooms, according to the company.
