Chess and Cookies: All ages can come in and play chess from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and May 7. Zach Simonini will teach anyone who doesn't already know how. Some chessboards will be provided, but participants are invited to bring their own.

Writer's Group: The group meets from 7 to 8:45 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month.

You've Got Games: Board games and card games will be available for all ages to play from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 29. Participants are encouraged to bring their own favorites from home, too. Reading and arithmetic skills are necessary for most games.
