Celebrate spring with Spirit Days festival Saturday

Baird & Warner's North Randall office will be hosting a Community Spirit Days festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Randall Oaks Park, 17N350 Randall Road, West Dundee.

Several local organizations will join Baird & Warner North Randall to kick off summer for a fun-filled day of games, prizes, food and entertainment for all ages.

"After such a long winter, we wanted to create a fun reason for everyone in the community to come out, celebrate, and enjoy one another's company," said North Randall manager John Worklan.

The West Dundee Police Department will be providing D.A.R.E. information, bicycle safety training and free fingerprinting, photos and DNA swabs for children as part of the national IdentiKid initiative.

The fire department will offer fire safety tips and tours of its fire engines.

Food will be provided by the Lion's Club, with all proceeds going back to the community.

Park facilities will be free to the public, and entry to the Barnyard Zoo will cost $1.

There will be an Elvis impersonator, live music, games, prizes and more.
