No injuries in Gurnee rollover

Police officials said no one was injured in a rollover accident on Interstate 94 near Grand Avenue in Gurnee early Thursday morning.

Officials said a white Ford Explorer was in the left hand lane of the southboud Tri-State when it struck the center median and flipped on its side at about 6:01 a.m.

The female driver involved in the accident was not injured, officials said, and refused treatment at the scene.

She was wearing a seat belt, officials said. An investigation and possible citations are pending, officials added.

The accident caused some congestion, officials said, but was cleared by 8 a.m.
