Methodist
Jeffry Bross and Brian Schoettes will present a workshop on the United Methodist Church at 5:45 and 7 p.m. Wednesday and April 30 at the Batavia United Methodist Church at 8 N. Batavia Ave., Batavia.
The General Conference of the United Methodist Church will meet Wednesday through May 2 in Fort Worth Texas. General Conference is the top policy-making body of The United Methodist Church. Church law provides for a maximum of 1,000 delegates, half clergy, half lay.

Inter-Denominational
An introductory class on Women's Inter-Denominational Bible Study Fellowship International series on the life of Moses will be held at 9:10 a.m. May 7 and again May 14 at Riverside Community Church, 37W130 Crane Road in St. Charles.
The Bible study takes place from September through May 2009. Classes include personal study, group discussion, lecture and commentary. A children' program will be available for ages 2 to 5 for women enrolled in classes.
