Car must be returned to Stebic

A Will County judge has ordered authorities to return the car seized last year during an investigation into the disappearance of a Plainfield woman. But Will County Judge Richard Schoenstedt on Monday didn't tell authorities to return 24 guns or a pickup truck they took during a search of Craig Stebic's home last May. Chuck Pelkie of the Will County state's attorney's office said the judge is expected to rule on the weapons and Stebic's pickup on April 24. No charges have been filed in last April's disappearance of Lisa Stebic.
