Emmett's Brewery earns top honor

WEST DUNDEE -- In competition among 646 breweries in 57 countries, Emmett's Brewery secured recognition by winning a silver medal in the World Beer Cup Competition. The World Beer Cup Award was presented to Emmett's brewmaster Ryan Clooney and head brewer Rob Hunter in a ceremony in San Diego last week with 1,600 brewery representatives from around the world attending. Emmett's Ale House breweries are located in West Dundee at 128 W. Main St.; in Palatine at 110 N. Brockway St.; and in Downers Grove at 5200 Main St.
