Set a play date, and nibble away
The new Nibbles' Play Café at 13 Huntington Lane in Wheeling lets parents unwind and have a bite to eat or a cup of coffee while their children are busy in a variety of play areas.
The café area is centrally located so moms and dads can keep a watchful eye on their little ones while enjoying a Mandarin chicken salad or a goat cheese ciabatta sandwich. For those not wanting a big meal, coffee and "one-bite" dessert sweets are featured.
The play areas are designed for children ages 6 months to 6 years and include a train table, a sand-and-water area, building blocks and a costume area with dress-up clothes and props. For the younger set, the Belly Babies area has soft mats for crawling and tunnels to explore.
