1 killed, 3 injured in McDonald's robbery
Police say one person was killed and three others wounded during a robbery attempt at a McDonald's restaurant on the city's South Side.
Police spokeswoman Amina Greer says the shootings occurred just after 7:30 p.m. Monday near 76th Street and Vincennes Avenue, but it wasn't clear if the robbery attempt occurred in the restaurant or the parking lot.
Fire Department spokesman Joe Roccasalva says the dead man was a 28-year-old who was shot in the chest. He was dead on arrival at Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center.
Roccasalva says a 24-year-old man was shot in the head and a 26-year-old man was shot in the upper chest and back.
Roccasalva says another man in his 20s was found with a gunshot wound, but details weren't immediately available.
