Three Chicago police officers hurt in crash

Authorities say three Chicago police officers were injured when a driver with a medical condition passed out, causing his car to cross a median and hit the officers' unmarked car.

The crash occurred Sunday in Schiller Park.

Schiller Park police officer Mike Marrazzo says the 59-year-old driver was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

One of the police officers was reported in serious condition at the same hospital. The other two were reported in stable condition at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago.
