Krog sparks Wolves' victory

Center Jason Krog scored 2 first-period goals and goaltender Ondrej Pavelec turned away 32 of 33 shots to lift the Chicago Wolves to a 2-1 win over the host Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena on Sunday.

Krog scored twice in the opening 13:31, and the lead held up for the remainder of the game.

The Wolves (44-14-2-2) leads the American Hockey League with a .742 winning percentage, which includes a 13-1-1-2 mark over the last 17 games. Their 44 victories are tied for the league lead and are the most through 62 games in franchise history.
