Morask grateful for all supporters
Words alone cannot adequately express my thanks for your show of support not only at the polls but throughout the long hard road of the last six months.
This was truly a grass roots, friend-friend, helping hands campaign that demonstrated a unity of purpose that is much needed in this era of divisive and bitter politics.
To everyone who helped spread the word that qualifications, experience and ideals are what matter to the vast majority of the American people I sincerely thank you. I would also like to thank all of those people who had the courage of their convictions to endorse my candidacy from the start and to work together with old friends and new.
A thank-you letter would not be complete without a shout out to those stalwarts who have been advisers, budget watchers, tireless workers and above all friends; campaign manager to Web site developer -- I am truly lucky to count them not only amongst my campaign but to have made long term and true friendships that transcend all politics. And that, my friends, is the true benefit of the campaign process.
As anyone who has participated in this process knows, there are so many peaks and valleys that one encounters on an hourly, if not daily basis. My lifelong friends have always been there to support me and never get thanked enough -- once again I owe a huge debt of gratitude to them (and they know who they are) for the hard work of having to listen to me on a regular basis and shore up my morale.
But also truly stunning in this process and one of the most amazing things I saw throughout these months was the willingness of people I did not yet know personally to reach out, to tell me they believed in my dream and goal of electing a qualified and experienced judiciary and to then offer their time, their name, and their hard-earned money to invest in that dream.
