• Ashley Nicole Pagano of Wheeling graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, at the end of the 2007 summer semester.

• Ted Cohn of Buffalo Grove, a senior at Purdue University, was selected for membership in the 2007 Purdue "All-American" Marching Band.

• Megan Kathleen Lutz of Buffalo Grove, a biology major at Truman State University, Kirksville, Mo., was named to the fall 2007 president's list for achieving a 4.0 grade point average.

• Andrew Duffey of Long Grove, a student in the School of Engineering & Applied Science at Washington University, St. Louis, Mo., was named to the spring 2007 dean's list. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.6 or above. Duffey is a graduate of Adlai E Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire.

• Elyse Cohen of Long Grove, a student in the College of Arts & Sciences at Washington University, St. Louis, Mo., was named to the spring 2007 dean's list. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.6 or above. Cohen is a graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire.

• Megan Kathleen Lutz of Buffalo Grove, a student majoring in biology at Truman State University, Kirksville, Mo., was named to the fall 2007 president's list for having a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

• Andrea Frendling, daughter of Mrs. Carol A. Frendling and Mr. Joseph C. Frendling Jr. of Wheeling, received a master of medical science degree from the School of Medicine of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.

• Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, announced the following students received bachelor's degrees Aug. 11 at the end of the summer session.

Wheeling: Ron Alan Hauswald, communications, media studies; and Staci Alan Sonenthal, communications, media studies.
