ECC plans trip to see Blue Man Group
Elgin Community College's Corporate and Continuing Education Division will host a group trip to see a performance by the Blue Man Group Saturday in Chicago.
The trip will leave ECC promptly at 2 p.m. Return time is approximately 8 p.m., depending on traffic, weather and unforeseen conditions.
Cost is $99 per person, and includes transportation on deluxe coach buses, tickets and a snack. Seating is limited.
Since beginning as an off-Broadway production in New York City, Blue Man Group has become a global attraction with shows currently running in New York City, Chicago, Boston, London, Toronto, Berlin, Las Vegas and Orlando. Part musical performance and part comedy, Blue Man Group incorporates instruments, multimedia graphics, paints, paper and sophisticated lighting to captivate audiences of all ages .
Registrations may also be made for a trip to Fort Atkinson, Wis. to see a production of "Anything Goes" at the Fireside Dinner Theatre on April 16. That tour will leave ECC at 8:45 a.m. and return to campus at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $99 per person.
All trips depart from the circle drive of the ECC Fox Valley University and Business Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, which is at the intersection of Spartan and Lehr drives on the southwest side of the campus. Participants should gather in the UBC lobby.
