How about a bigger rebate?

It is pretty common knowledge now that the Bush, Cheney, Rove, and profiting Haliburton's war is the most egregious act ever committed by this country. How big? Different sources are now projecting the costs into the next 10 years at up to 2.7 trillion dollars between Afganistan and Iraq, with Iraq accounting for three quarters of the amount. You know, 2.7 trillion doesn't sound like a big number, but how big is it really? It's big! With 300 million Americans, it amounts to $9,000 for every man woman and child.

In the absence of this egregious act, I was thinking that as a part of the stimulus package, we could have had this $9,000 as a rebate rather than the $600 rebate we are receiving. Imagine how that would stimulate the economy, money spent on lasting products and services rather than explosives and destruction. November can't come quick enough.
