Valley Air Service reports sales hike

ELGIN -- Valley Air Service Inc., an executive aircraft charter and aircraft management company with headquarters in Elgin, said sales were up 42 percent in 2007 over 2006. With a fleet of jet aircraft based at DuPage Airport in West Chicago and plans of adding more aircraft in 2008, growth will be the trend. Husband-wife team Stephen and Maureen Cosyns started the business in 1994. They say about 80 percent of their clients are business executives who can avoid the long lines and flight delays of O'Hare or Midway.
