White Sox a class act for NIU hats
Although what happened at NIU last month was a tragedy, it isn't necessary for any professional sports organization to do anything but perhaps mourn on an individual basis.
The Chicago White Sox, however, chose to do something. Ozzie Guillen and Ken Williams wore NIU caps the next day and the entire team wore NIU caps for one of their exhibition games and then promptly autographed them and sent them to NIU for auction.
This is real class organization and I applaud them. By the way, where were the media-favored Cubs, or for that matter the Bulls, Blackhawks?
