Lake Zurich, Benet play to scoreless tie
Where are the goals?
It's a question plaguing both Benet and Lake Zurich at the start of the girls soccer season.
Lake Zurich has scored 1 goal in three games and Benet has 3 goals in five games.
Both Benet and host Lake Zurich played 80 minutes of scoreless soccer Friday afternoon in the St. Viator tournament. It also left both coaches and players a little frustrated with the outcome,
"Defensively, we're playing OK," said Lake Zurich coach Pete Ternes after his team's second straight scoreless tie. "Offensively, we're just not finding the combinations yet.
