Thanks, voters, for primary win
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the voters in Illinois House District 66 for their strong show of support for me as a Republican Candidate in the February primary. I truly appreciate the support that I received. I would also like to thank all of the wonderful volunteers who helped contribute to the success of my campaign.
Thank you to the people who circulated petitions for me and collected over 2,200 signatures. Thank you to the people who volunteered in the office to stuff campaign literature, assemble yard signs and help with the mailings. Special thanks to the people who walked, knocked on doors and distributed literature to homes and at the train stations during one of the worst winters we've had in years. I am grateful to the people who made phone calls, sent e-mails and distributed yard signs. Thank you to all of the people, organizations and elected officials who endorsed me.
Thanks to Margaret Basch for running campaign headquarters and keeping all of our volunteers busy. My family was and continues to be a huge support system for me. Thanks most of all to my husband, Alex, for being my campaign manager and always being there for me, no matter how hectic it got.
A very special thank you goes to our current state Representative, Carolyn Krause, for her endorsement, support and guidance.
I look forward to continuing my campaign to win the privilege to serve as your state representative in the 66th District on Nov. 4. It's going to be an exciting campaign and I seek your continued support. Thank you again.
