Obama, Rezko story shouldn't be buried

In a world where the media is coming increasingly under attack for having a secret liberal agenda, I find it both ironic and sad that one of the biggest stories in Illinois, and the nation, is relegated to page 10.

The ongoing story and trial of Tony Rezko and his connection to Barack Obama is certainly one of the most important stories currently unfolding. Yet the Herald chose to put in on page 10. Why?

Burying information in the middle of a section does nothing to dissuade those who already suspect that most of the news media in this country will, even if only in a very subtle way, try to assist any candidate on the left of the aisle.

Be brave. Put important news where it is supposed to be -- on the front page.
