Rookies Sports Pub to open in Elgin

ELGIN -- Rookies Sports Pub & Grill is expected to open at 2486 Bushwood Drive, Elgin, in mid-April. The restaurant will feature a large menu including ribs, Mexican food, more than 30 appetizers and steaks. The establishment will feature HDTV big screens in the sports bar area. An ongoing special being planned at Rookies is its $1 burger promotion that runs four times a year. Bob Karas is the owner, general manager.
