Robbers stick up school cafeteria
Police in the southwestern Chicago suburb of Burbank are searching for a pair of robbers who made an odd choice in their stickup target.
They robbed the cafeteria of a Catholic high school.
Officers say the two men, one of them armed with a black semiautomatic handgun, entered the rear kitchen door of the all-boys St. Laurence High School shortly after lunchtime Friday and ordered a lunchroom worker into the kitchen office, where they removed the day's cash receipts from a desk. Burbank Police Captain Joe Ford said the two got away with more then $100.
No one was injured, but the cafeteria worker was shaken up.
School officials say no students were in the cafeteria at the time.
