Paper's out of touch with readers
As usual I find myself strongly disagreeing with your position on this issue ("No simple solution to overcrowding," March 27).
While overcrowding is a problem, I have trouble seeing it as complex. The causes are not really that complex. Regardless of the group involved there are laws to be followed and there should be consequences if they are not.
The Daily Herald listed some of the ways the Latinos United group feels would help. In fact, they probably would, but each item costs money and those costs are not being borne by the groups causing the problems. Again, it is the middle class, working public that will have to pay the bill.
Your paper is very big on society working together. You push it every chance you get but fail to emphasize the key word, "working."
Your "far left" views on this and many other topics put you out of touch with most of your readers.
