Grayslake a nice stop for this tourist

I was recently visiting friends in Libertyville and had problems with my laptop. My friends knew of a computer tech in Grayslake and we took my laptop to Ryck Tech to get it fixed. While we were there, the gentleman stated that it would take approximately an hour to fix my laptop and suggested that we visit some of the businesses in your beautiful downtown.

We did as he suggested and visited several stores including This Old Book, Through the Looking Glass, Talking Wireless and Sweet Susie's Bakery. I can't remember the names of the other stores. We had a wonderful time walking around town shopping. Needless to say, we didn't make it back to the computer repair shop until well after the hour.

While heading home, we were talking about how friendly the people were in Grayslake. The merchants were more than happy to suggest other stores that we should visit in the downtown area. Unfortunately, we didn't get to visit all the stores we wanted to, but next time that I am in Illinois, I'll make sure to visit Grayslake again.

I hear there is a chocolate store that is a must visit. That is number one on my list to visit next. Right after Sweet Susie's for more of the tiramisu.

I wish I could remember the name of the tech at Ryck Tech, but I would like to thank him for telling me about all the wonderful things that Grayslake has and fixing my computer so quickly.
