We don't want new tollway charges
On the front page, Marni Pyke told us about the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (Feb. 29).
As a taxpayer and citizen, I would like to tell the CMAP to go take a good long jump in Lake Michigan. Maybe then they would clear their head and wake up.
We the taxpayers of Illinois do not need them nor do we want them. The toll roads have been paid for several times over and the toll road commission should be abolished for the way they have managed the toll roads.
Now we have a new group that says they have a right to come up with a new policy for operating I-PASS and new charges.
Let's put it on a ballot and see what we the people want. Not the politicians or other outside groups that want to help Chicago with their traffic problems. No new fees ,no new taxes, enough is enough. We the people have had enough of your antics Knock it off.
