Akorn inks deal for OTC products

Buffalo Grove-based Akorn Inc. Monday announced the signing of a commercial manufacturing and supply agreement with a U.S. ophthalmic company. Under the terms of the five-year deal, Akorn will exclusively manufacture and supply three OTC eye-care products. The line will be manufactured at Akorn's Decatur factory and are targeted for distribution worldwide. Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
