Hearing on Drew Peterson's weapons postponed
A judge is postponing a decision on whether to order authorities to hand over guns seized during a search of Drew Peterson's house to the former police sergeant's adult son.
A hearing on the issue was scheduled for Tuesday, but Will County State's Attorney's office spokesman Chuck Pelkie says it's been postponed until April 17th.
Peterson is a suspect in the October disappearance of his wife, Stacy.
He hasn't been charged and denies any wrongdoing.
A judge already ordered the state police to return Peterson's two vehicles and other items.
Peterson wants his son to hold the weapons while Peterson appeals the revocation of his Firearm Owner's Identification Card.
