Airports nearly back to normal after storm
Flights are mostly back on schedule at Chicago airports. An unseasonable snowstorm struck the area Friday, forcing the cancellation of more than 400 flights at O'Hare International Airport. More than a dozen flights were canceled at Midway Airport.
The Chicago Department of Aviation says about 200 travelers spent the night at O'Hare but that things are now nearly back to normal.
The National Weather Service says some northern suburbs received as much as 12 inches of snow. At the height of Friday's storm, it snowed at a rate of 2 inches per hour in parts of Lake County.
