Dundee Township library offers play time for babies

Baby Play Group, an opportunity for parents to socialize with other parents while their children play under supervision, will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. March 3 and April 7 at the Dundee Township Public Library, 555 Barrington Ave., East Dundee.

Baby Play Group will be held in the library's meeting room.

This is not a formal program, simply drop in and find toys to play with, board books to read, puppet friends and fun activities.

It is free and open to the public. No registration is necessary.

West Side Storytime will be presented for preschoolers at 10:30 a.m. March 18. This free storytime will be held at the West Dundee Public Safety Center II, at the intersection of Route 72 and Sleepy Hollow Road.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. No registration is necessary for this preschool program, which includes stories, songs, fingerplays and activities.

Gilberts resident Larissa DeSmet will again lead her popular Spanish Storytimes at 7 p.m. March 27. Children of all ages and their families will enjoy a half-hour of stories, fingerplays and songs. No registration is required for these free programs.
