Jane Fonda owes viewers an apology
Jane Fonda tells Meredith Vieira on the "Today" show that she would not perform a monologue with its title being a vulgar slang word.
Her explanation: "I don't think so. I've got enough problems."
Yet during their conversation, she verbalizes that very word.
A few minutes later, Vieira/NBC News apologizes for Ms. Fonda's "slip of the tongue."
Isn't it Jane Fonda who should be apologizing?
And wasn't it just a few weeks ago that Diane Keaton let slip a vulgar word on ABC's Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer?
Slips of the tongue? I don't think so.
These actresses are talented and attractive; too bad it's all lost when they open their mouths. No class.
