Balmoral cancels Wednesday's races

From Heavy rains and gusting winds forced the cancellation of Wednesday night's Balmoral Park racing card. With the weather expected to get worse by evening, track management and horseman agreed to cancel the races.

Tuesday night's card was canceled after the first race due to heavy rains and poor visibility. This marks the third cancellation over the past eight days.

The usual Wednesday qualifiers were also canceled and rescheduled for Thursday with a post time of 10:30 a.m.

Balmoral Park will remain open day and night for simulcast wagering. Live racing is scheduled to resume on Saturday with a 14-race program beginning at 7:20 p.m.
